AI marketplaces are reorganizing around agents, compute supply is going multi-vendor, and enterprise suites are embedding role-based assistants. This week, Google launched Gemini Enterprise for workplace agents, OpenAI added AMD as a strategic compute pillar, Microsoft unified its marketplace with an AI apps and agents lane, IBM partnered with Anthropic to infuse Claude across its software, SAP and Google enabled zero-copy access between Business Data Cloud and BigQuery, and Oracle shipped Fusion AI Agents. Below, I unpack why these moves matter for partner GTM, co-sell, and marketplace attach, plus the alliances and funding flows powering the agent economy, so you can prioritize what to ship next.
Planning on building agentic AI offers with partners? Check out this step-by-step playbook for partner leaders:
Hi there,
Another big week at the intersection of AI, partner ecosystems, and go-to-market. Let’s look at the macro moves, then program updates, and emerging players. I’m adding my take for Partner Leaders at the end to give you more ammunition for what to do next.
Quick take: AI is shifting to packaged agents, marketplace distribution, multi-vendor capacity, and to governed, zero-copy data flows. That combination changes partner strategy in three ways: what you build, how you list and co-sell it, and how you prove outcomes fast.
Google rolls out Gemini Enterprise, partners get a first-class lane for agents
Google launched Gemini Enterprise, a unified “front door” for AI at work with pre-built agents, a no-code workbench, and secure connectors across tools like Confluence, SharePoint, and ServiceNow. Google also published how partners plug in, see Partners powering the Gemini Enterprise agent ecosystem.
OpenAI adds AMD as a second compute pillar, capacity arbitrage becomes a partner service
OpenAI signed a multi-year deal with AMD to deploy 6 GW of Instinct GPUs.
SIs, OEMs, and MSPs should productize “compute-with-assurance” bundles, think capacity planning, SLOs, and model-ready stacks, priced alongside agent projects, not after them.
Microsoft’s unified Marketplace highlights AI apps and agents, co-sell gets simpler
Microsoft consolidated AppSource and Azure Marketplace into a single experience with a dedicated AI apps and agents category, simplified publishing, built-in co-sell, and expanded reseller reach.
The play: bring your listing up to spec now, clean metadata, pricing, and telemetry, and align your field kits to Marketplace co-sell so AEs can attach you in live deals without friction.
IBM x Anthropic partner to infuse Claude across IBM software, governance moves left
IBM announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic to embed Claude across IBM’s software portfolio, with security, governance, and cost controls designed into the SDLC.
Salesforce expands Agentforce for IT, partners should package “trust packs”
Salesforce pushed new guidance and offers around Agentforce and highlighted an Agentforce IT Service pattern, automating incident creation, triage, and resolution.
Sell “approval in days,” not months. Bundle evaluation harnesses, audit artifacts, and model registries with your Agentforce builds, and make them recurring services.
SAP x Google Cloud remove the ETL tax, zero-copy access from SAP BDC to BigQuery
SAP and Google Cloud launched a zero-copy data fabric, SAP Business Data Cloud Connect for BigQuery.
Partners can finally productize cross-process agents without brittle pipelines, start with finance, supply chain, and HR variance detection, deliver working-capital and cycle-time outcomes, not dashboards.
Oracle brings role-based AI agents to Fusion, clear GTM for CX and RevOps partners
Oracle introduced AI Agents embedded in Fusion Apps, targeting marketing, sales, and service leaders.
Quick hits, alliances and programs
PwC deepens Google Cloud tie-up to accelerate client adoption of Gemini Enterprise, expect packaged assessments and fast-track deployments.
S&P Global x IBM to embed watsonx agents, watch for reference patterns in data-heavy ops.
OpenAI x Mattel test Sora 2 video model, early proof that brand and licensing workflows will get agentic, as reported by Reuters.
Funding watch, agent economy gets capitalized
Reflection AI raised $2B, automating software development, partners should expect demand for SDLC governance and ROI instrumentation, Reuters reported.
n8n closed $180M Series C, $2.5B valuation, a signal that orchestration layers are becoming standards.
Kernel raised $22M, building browser infra for computer-use agents, useful for compliant web actions, per SiliconANGLE.
Mastra raised $13M seed, TypeScript agent framework used in enterprise, keep an eye on adoption patterns.
What to do next for partner leaders
Productize agents that sell, pick one cross-function flow per industry, ship the agent with connectors, governance artifacts, and outcome telemetry, list it where buyers already are, Microsoft Marketplace, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud.
Co-sell with capacity, as compute diversifies, pair your solution with a capacity plan and ops SLOs, the OpenAI-AMD deal tells buyers to ask about resilience and throughput as part of solution selection.
Lead with governance, make approvals happen in days, not months, package red-team runs, eval packs, and control towers as add-ons, especially for Salesforce, ServiceNow, and SAP estates.
Make agents the unit of value. Align your program benefits, incentives, and MDF and reward agents that ship, get approved quickly, and sustain usage, not generic AI claims.
Transactable first, marketplace native. Microsoft and others are giving agents a front-row seat in marketplace taxonomy, which means your partner catalog should be tagged for agents, priced for consumption, and co-sell ready with playbooks and fields.
Incentivize governance as a product. Approval in days is the new win. Create specializations for “agent governance,” certify partners on eval packs, model registries, audit artifacts, and safe actions, and pay for cycle-time reductions, not just revenue.
